In Oct 2009 we held a Promo tour around the South Coast of England, to Promote the OMA’s
We hit Bournemouth, Southampton & Brighton to encourage support for the Portsmouth Guildhall event in January 2010.

In Nov 2009 we held a Nominations Party in West London and kicked off the voting.

In January 2010 the UK’s First Ever Mixtape Awards Ceremony, it gave birth to a new outlook to underground music.

We successfully identified as many of the UK’s independent artist and those that inspired them.

Our night was hosted by BBC1xtra Home Grown Ras Kwame and UK Soul sensation Miss Kele Le Roc


The Award show consisted of eight award categories

Best Mixtape for 09: P Money (Money Over Everything)
Best Grime Mixtape: P Money (Money Over Everything)
Best Hip Hop Mixtape: Wretch 32 (Verse 3 Chapter 2)
Best Mixtape DJ: DJ Limelight
Best Newcomer: Marvell
Best Producer: Scorcher
Special Contribution: Wiley
